Founder & CEO

Founder and CEO of Militello Capital. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis in 1992 and later served as a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Signals Intelligence Officer. In 2001, Bill moved to Wall Street where he was an equity trader for Knight Capital Markets. Mr. Militello subsequently served as a consultant for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Then in 2003, he founded Piedmont Investment Advisors and set out to create not just another investment firm, but rather to redefine the traditional investment model. His view was that the financial services industry was ripe for innovation and therefore, he founded Militello Capital in 2011 to guide the wave of registered investment advisors "RIAs" to think beyond Wall Street and challenge the conventional allocation model. He knows firsthand the challenges of being an entrepreneur and RIA, and built private equity products that create jobs, enhance communities and fund the development of technologies that help mankind.


Chief Financial Officer

A Northern Virginia native and CFO of Militello Capital, Sean graduated from Radford University in 2005 with double major in Accounting and Finance and a minor in Criminal Justice. He spent the next 3 years specializing in public accounting for firms such as Kositza Wicks & Company and Streetman & Jones PC, before transitioning into corporate accounting with Ramsey Asset Management in 2008.

Sean’s passion for numbers and exceptional problem-solving skills lead him to the position of Controller for the family office of a local Billionaire businessman in 2012 until he decided to join the team here at Militello Capital in the spring of 2017.


Director of Operations

Amanda started with Piedmont Investment Advisors in 2009 before moving into her role at Militello Capital in 2013. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Amanda holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech and an MBA from George Washington University in Washington D.C. Prior to Piedmont, Amanda managed operations for companies such as the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salon and Spa, Darden Restaurants, and Walt Disney World Resorts.



In a 40-year private sector career, Jack served in a variety of executive management positions in the high technology, aerospace and commercial sectors. He retired as CEO/President of Westinghouse Electric Corporation, International – after leading his team to profitable growth and $2B annual sales in 75 nations. Jack then moved into private-equity commercial real estate projects, focused on investments in income-producing, multi-tenant office/industrial properties. He also served 3+ years in the U.S. Congress as Senior Advisor to Congressman Curt Clawson, Florida 19. Since graduating from Manhattan College with a BSEE, Jack has continued studies in Business Management at Harvard Business School, INSEAD in Paris, and at the Brookings Institute. What Jack is most proud of is his family – his wife, Lucille, of more than 50 years, four married children, and 10 grandchildren.



Sylvain Chevalier brings 50 years of business development and management, with a strong background in the international private banking, family office, medical device, wellness, and real estate sectors.  He developed business in 25 countries with assignments in Canada, Panama, Grand Cayman, Nassau and the U.S. He is a resident of Naples, Florida, and is both a Canadian and American citizen.

Robert Baum


Robert Baum brings an entrepreneurial perspective flavored with a deep understanding and admiration for business technology. Rob’s early experience at NCR Corp programming mainframe communications helped shape his interest in using technology as a competitive advantage. As a senior analyst at Ernst & Young, and later at a small boutique consulting company, Rob applied his passion with technology to solving difficult communication and workflow problems by integrating disparate systems. Rob started TechFlow in 1995 to help commercial clients such as DreamWorks, Toshiba, MGM, and others modernize using what has become known today as Agile At Scale software development. Rob is currently TechFlow’s CEO and sits on the Board, as well as having served on the boards of RDG Enterprises, a IT Systems government integrator, Northern Getaways, a real estate partnership, and BehavioSec, a behavioral based security startup. Rob holds a a BS in Computer Science from the University of Michigan and an MBA from San Diego State University. Today, Rob is married to a wonderful woman, Autumn, has two great kids in high school, one step-son in grade school, and resides happily in Northern San Diego.
